ABOUT PORTRAITURE
Virginia's prize-winning portraiture has been displayed at the Massachusetts Statehouse, the Duxbury Art Complex Museum, Plimoth Plantation, and local, statewide and regional exhibitions. She believes that a fine portrait can be a tribute that elegantly portrays the outer appearance of an individual and can also suggest the inner spirit. She has used oil, acrylic, pastel, and silverpoint, with combined mediums.
